Corporate contributions are not allowed under state law. Contributions to The Boldyga Committee are not tax deductible. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited by law. Federal law requires our committee to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer for each individual whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Campaign finance laws limit individual contributions to a maximum of $1,000 per calendar year per person. Notice to Governmental Employees & Request Not to Forward Fundraising Solicitations to Governmental Employees: The Boldyga Committee does not intend any fundraising solicitation to be opened on publicly- owned computers or in buildings occupied for state, county or municipal purposes. If a fundraising solicitation is inadvertently sent to a governmental email address, any public employees or elected officials who receive the message at that address should take no action in response to the solicitation other than to reply to us to advise that they should be removed from the list. The Committee requests that any recipient of a fundraising solicitation not forward, disseminate, distribute or otherwise copy that email to a governmental email address. Emails that discuss issues, policies, etc., but do not solicit funds are not subject to these rules.
